Morningstar Corporation announced that it is now shipping two new products. The new GenStar MPPT essentially reinvents the solar DC system controller, while the new SureSine range of off-grid industrial inverters reflects the quality and engineering that Morningstar charge controllers are known for.
The recently launched GenStar DC Solar DC system controller and SureSine pure sine wave inverters are in full production and available through Morningstar's global distribution network. As a fully integrated solar DC system controller, GenStar MPPT represents the flagship of Morningstar's new Integrated Series, while the new SureSine inverter series enables solar professionals to design systems entirely of Morningstar components, with no weak links in the component chain.
The new GenStar MPPT range consists of three models ranging from 60 to 100A at 200V input.
"We have embarked on an entirely new design that integrates 'lithium DNA' and the most requested key communication, control and power conversion functions," said Bill Mellema, Morningstar's director of product management and future CEO. "GenStar has all the essential communications, connectivity and network integration features on board with no need to wire up adapters or external devices - everything is built in."
Morningstar's new SureSine off-grid inverter range is designed for the most demanding installations in industrial applications, including telecom, oil and gas, security, rural electrical electrification and more. The range consists of six main models ranging from 150 to 2500W with 120 or 230V output and 12, 24 or 48VDC input options.
